Iken Commercial Interiors continues to demonstrate their ability in not only supplying FF&E packages, but also delivering and installing in various locations. There is no limit to where Iken will go!
Iken have recently won a number of unique projects with complete FF&E packages and/or remote areas and are thrilled to be involved in such community developments. Some projects are briefly outlined below.
• Iken has been contracted to supply, deliver and install the complete FF&E package for the Australian Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. This is a logistical challenge as about 80 cubic metres of goods will be airfreighted from Australia with 3 stop overs, then kept secure from the airport to site - a mammoth co-ordination effort on Iken’s part. A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade supervisor said “ We have been impressed with Iken’s attention to detail and management of the whole process”.
• Narellan Police Station with ADCO constructions will be the new police headquarters in Camden, NSW. “The police station will cater for 94 staff over three shifts, with a maximum of 60 staff working during the day...” Iliana Stillitano, Camden Advertiser. Iken will be supplying a complete FF&E package, which will include everything from seating, workstations and televisions to secure storage for rifles, chemicals and drugs.
• The new Rosebery School in the Northern Territory will see Iken supplying classroom furniture for primary and middle areas. Due to the population growth in Bellamack and Rosebery, the new pre and primary school will cater for 600 students (including 100 pre-school places) and the middle school will cater for 850 students.
