JANUARY 2009 - THE CALLA WORKSTATION IS THE WINNER FOR THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS!
Congratulations to Danish student Carsten Olster Nielsen for winning the People's choice awards for the favourite workstation design. Nielsen's workstation design "CALLA" is designed for the business lounges in airports providing business travellers the luxury of a private space to do on-the-fly tasks. Calla is also designed as a sustainable product using renewable materials, low transport volume and low landfill contribution at end of life.

DECEMBER 2008 - "THE TREE" has arrived in Australia
The Tree is a space divider designed by Professor Eero Aarnio unveiled at the Milan Furniture Fair. Intended for restaurants and other public spaces, the Tree is also a sculpture, and will surely find its way into private homes, just as many other products designed by Professor Aarnio have done. The Tree is made of techno-recyclable polyethylene. This tree also bears fruit, as the proceeds of each Tree are used to plant four fruit trees in the Peruvian Andes as a part of World Vision Finland's regional development project to fight and prevent erosion. THE TREE is now available exclusively to IKEN.
